Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

People can answer this question themselves as any bid, which hasn't come yet or may not come at all, has to go past the fit and able test at the premier league.    Tomorrow is all about pumpkins, read into that what you will.

Christian Purslow (ex Liverpool or Chelsea MD) discussing our takeover on SSN.

Nothing new really other than the last point;

- Ashley in a precarious position because Rafa is key to the sale, any new owner will want Rafa and Ashley needs to keep him onside until sale concluded.

- Strange to go public to sale but Ashley aware the club is at its highest value, quick deal benefits nobody but Ashley.

- HMRC issues could complicate things and selling NUFC in 6 weeks is ‘extraordinarily unlikely’ (to meet the Christmas deadline).

The only thing about this guy is that is highly.likely he's not got a clue what stage the sale is at.

Maybe there's a possibility a deal could be agreed in principle allowing investment in January but not completion of the takeover. Like taking a share of the business prior to taking it in full over time.

PCP could sign a letter of intent, I understand that was the process for the Man City sale.
