If VAR was used Liverpool probably would be out. Lucky fucks.

TBF VAR would have awarded 2 pens to Liverpool in the first half and should have wiped out that ridiculous injury time penalty that Roma got.

I’m in Kent at the moment and the number of plastic Liverpool fans is sickening. They would be supporting Spurs, Chelsea or Man Itd if it was them in the semi. I hope they fucking lose the final the cunts.

As someone from Kent, there are actually a lot of Liverpool fans in the area, I have no idea why, but it seems to be a hotbed.

They crawl out of everywhere when Liverpool do well and they are all utterly unbearable like.

That’s been the case tonight. We fucked off back to the hotel early as they were that unbearable. I love the way they play, Klopp and admire some of their players, but as fans... nah, hope Ronaldo gets a hat-trick.

After the City games I thought Liverpool's name might be on the trophy and that just reinforces it. Things at the margins seem to be going their way, not  necessarily refereeing decisions.  City had less luck with them than Roma.

Have you seen the other team in the final? [emoji38]

cant see that defence and that garbo keeper stopping Real. Just no way.

Real rarely keep a clean sheet even against the real dross of La Liga. On paper, the game should finish about 5-4.

True, but i mean Roma are a very bad team and they've put 6 past them. Benzema/Bale/Ronnie/Isco. It prob goes against most peoples opinnion but im not sold on Trent Alexander Arnold. Gets caught out a lot imo

No Champions League semi-finalists are 'very bad' teams.

Except maybe Schalke in 2011.

Mate come on, Roma are objectively ass. Juan Jesus as CB.

You're not shit if you knock out Barca, Atletico etc and lose a semi final by one goal.

They made a mess of the first leg, but then so did Man City against Liverpool.

Worst player in the world. Gives Jesus a bad name.

Would start Bale in the final. On the left up against the young FB and Lovren.

Zizou seems to have the magic touch in any case.

His half-time team talk v Juventus in last year's final, which was recorded, probably indicates otherwise.

I think it's the players that are winning it for Madrid, not a manager with a magic touch.

I still fancy Real Madrid in the Final. To lead 5-0 after 80 minutes and just scrape through by a goal shows vulnerability.

I think their problem is that they tend to play at maximum pace from the start - that seems to be the way of Klopp's sides. They're then prone to running out of steam in the last 15 minutes. That was very noticeable in both Roma games, and the league game against Man City.

I suspect Real will be too canny to over-commit at the start and get hit on the break.

Not sure whats funny about that. The way liverpool took them apart in the first leg was one of the most embarrassing displays I've seen. Their back four is absolutely horrible,  De Rossi is most likely finished, Keeper is awful,  el-Shaarawy has bounced around  loan clubs. Dezeko and Naingolan are good footballers, but as a side they are bang average. I dunno how much Serie A you watch but they are not a good side.

In CL terms they are a bad side. The barca result was just odd, they got dicked away.

TBF their keeper is considered one of the best in the world. Nainggolan and Dzeko are very food footballers as well. Roma has beaten Chelsea 3-0 at home, Barcelona 3-0 at home, Liverpool 4-2 at home. They're not a bad side at all.

Yeah that's the first time I've seen him, and if he's one of the best keepers in the world, then Rob Elliot may not be far away as we think from PL quality ! Roma on the whole were very poor until the last 30 mins or so of that game, which I think was more to do with Liverpool shitting themselves for no apparent reason as opposed to the quality of the opposition.

What's funny is you said Roma were a "very bad" team.

A "very bad" team doesn't qualify for the Semi-Finals of the Champions League without conceding a goal at home.

Fair enough, if you said "I don't rate them that highly, I think they're an average team" - then you can debate and discuss that point.

But they're clearly not a "very bad" team.

Allison is class [emoji38]

Aye, he’s quality. They were the better side against Barca in both games as well. The second leg performance was immense. They were set up horribly in the first game against Liverpool and it really cost them but it’s ridiculous to call them a very bad side.
