But Popes unreal performance and the drama last summer completed destroyed his value to the club. My memory is that when he arrived, he made an instant impact, looking very confident and inspiring his other defenders. A bit like Dan Burn last season. However, when he came back from injury, that positive spark seemed to have gone. He's looked hesitant ever since.
