Christ, Shelvey looks even more like Voldemort there. His head coming out the back of Ritchie’s in spectacular philosophers stone fashion.

I'd be seriously questioning the decision to stick with Pogba today if I was a Man Utd fan. Supposedly knacked in the warm up and basically did nowt.

Needs to be played in a three man midfield. Very frustrating.

Need Bailly back and another centre half brought in this summer. Young, Jones and Smalling wouldn't look out of place at West Brom.

Newcastle well worth the win today. Great performance by the keeper too. Shelvey motm.

Almost like it vindicates Fat Mike's miserly approach to squad investment, innit?

I'm delighted with the result, not least because I was so convinced we were due a humping that I was in the organic aisle at Waitrose with the Mrs when Ritchie scored.

Mourinho interview after he said we played like animals. And Newcastle was beautiful to watch.

I think he was genuine in his praise which surprised me

Does make you think, above a certain point, what are you really paying for?

Nobody can say that however much Sanchez is costing Man United, more than say Lingard, or what Rashford would have done - really showed today, or against Spurs. Over the course of the season there is going to be a difference, of course because Sanchez is a better footballer - but sometimes I wonder if it's quite a marginal difference when you look at it.

Chelsea for example - the millions and millions spent on players like Rudiger, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Barkley - when they've let go Ake, Loftus-Cheek, Chalobah.

You see clueless stuff from overseas 'fans' like that all the time on social media, like. They're more like fan boys than fans.

High fever and with a flu, but f*** me I feel sooo good somehow

Me too mate, nearly passed out light headed every time I shouted at the TV.

Oh, btw, I just got HIV earlier today as well, so I win.

You sound positive about it at least.
