Like mojo said- the fans basically jumped in two footed into the short termism that maintained the 6 in a row- at the longer term expense of the club- time for them all to reap what they have sewn

yeah it's hard to see at what point these last two seasons would have triggered a protest or whatever, in their minds the relegation was something to be brushed off because they'd walk the pub league like we did...the scale of that decline has been remarkable, and in fairness the owner did his usual thing of trying to change manager which had always worked before so they should have been ok

hahahaha

bloke in the home shirt in the top-left, stood behind the fella in the rank pink/purple shirt... half a second later and that'd be a photo of someone doing monkey noises, nailed on.

The sad thing is they haven't managed to organise themselves as fans and fight for their club. The are in freefall, league one, potential financial ruin without a take over and they have meekly accepted it with grudging boos. They are where they deserve to be because they couldn't even be arsed to fight for their own club.

Don't want to protest because they don't want to "look like Mags".  They'd rather be in League One, taking the piss out of us for kicking off against the shambles of the Pardew regime and getting a world class manager as a result.

Totally forgot four teams get relegated from League One. If they don't sort themselves out quickly it could be massive trouble.

Hopefully they'll go into administration, get a points deduction which will set the tone for their season.

For those that think they will piss League One, there are lots of Burton type club’s down there who actually currently sit 4 points above them having relegated them. It’s going to be another tough old season for them down there, make no mistake about that.

What a glorious saturday  :D

sunderland relegated to League One in such a fantastic and well-deserved way, you couldn't even make it up

But there it was - Karma - served to them by Bent and Burton!

The amount of threads and replies on RTG and twitter yesterday topped off an incredible season - witnessing their despair and misery on RTG.

That place has really been a gold mine all season.  :mackems:

Coleman has been a disaster of an appointment for them, no excuses given when he took over them and the time he’s had to get points on the board to keep the, up. 6 was all season. They do love that number lol:

The funny thing is, they had a decent start (5 points from 3 games).

After then 29 points from 41 GAMES

Still got the best 2 teams in the division still to play too, they're lifting. They could quite easily be down and away for 15 years. They don't bounce back before the parachute payments stop and they're utterly fucked.

Parachute payments will surely go towards servicing debt and towards operating costs anyway? I think they are fucked. If they don’t start next season we’ll, they could implode.
