Probably is the right time to let him go. Absolutely love him though.

Seen him in town walking down Northumberland Street with a fucking gorgeous lass about 4 years ago. He was absolutely lush too. My lass will be gutted the day he leaves.

I seen him in Jesmond a few months ago with who I assume were his parents. Either that or he’s go some weird granda & nanna cuck kink going on.

Think Colo would've been a monster in this team and era.

Alas destroyed one too many times by Romelu Lukaku and Shane Long to make my XI.

He’s miles better than Colo

The loss of his leadership on the pitch is underrated. I think Thiaw has been a good signing and may turn out to be a great one but he seems very quiet and the pitch and the defence as a unit with him in it has been distinctly sieve like and part of this I think is losing that leader and organiser on the pitch that Schär is. I really hope he stays for one more year.

Peak Colo is always a mention in any of my lists of best CB's I've seen for us. Probably my favourite to watch.

Schar wins the longevity and consistency award.

off the top of me heed, will be remembered for

PSG goal

The Screamers

The assist for Joelinton vs Spurs at home and the assist at West Ham

The press vs Arsenal at home for Gordon's goal

and for just looking lush... that smile.

His celebration with Murphy wagging his finger behind him.

Woodgate to me was a different class to the others mentioned. He never looked worried read the game so well, covered and made average defenders look actually good. 😂

Loved him.

Yeh for the short time he was here he was unreal when he played, like you said his reading of the game was a few steps ahead.. Best CB we've had in my time, but obviously nowhere near the legend Fab is to us.

He would have been an England legend, had he not has his problems with injury. He was terrific in the period we had him.

What was the game where he put 3-4 full blooded sliding-challenges in a row, in the same move? I think it was early in Eddie's reign where we played peak intensity is our identity.

That halfway line shot Murphy finished off the bar

Who's this from Paully?

Eddie said it’s unlikely he’ll make last two matches mate in his presser

Hopefully we keep him for one more year.

I can see it - he is a year younger than Tripps.  Easily has another year at this level.
