samptime29
Looking at his record - very decent amount of goals for a centre back like.

steve_69
Im not embarrassed at all for my over exaggerated love of him Me either. He's absolutely brilliant and one of the classiest defenders we've had for a long time. Swiss God!
Dinho lad
I'm sure he's eyeing a move elsewhere - and I don't blame him.

Mattoon
New deal has to be the main priority for the club for this guy. Only way he gets a new deal is if it means Ashley can get more money by selling him
Guest
I think we’ll offer him a new deal, with a promise to sell if we get a bid of over £20m, or he’ll stay and go for around £12m in the summer with only a year left.

Nah if we refused to sell Longstaff for £25m, we won’t let Schar go for less than that. He’s probably our best player alongside Dubravka, the club will know that and value him accordingly. £30m+. LoveItIfWeBeatU
He was good but he lost Maguire allowing him a free header which he would convert 9 times out of 10.
toontownman
He was good but he lost McGuire allowing him a free header which he would convert 9 times out of 10. This aside he was MOTM today for me. Some incredible blocks and an influential figure for sure.

Ikon
Absolutely immense! How many times has he saved us from conceding, and not just that, he's mopping up balls that most defenders wouldn't be near.
joeyt
Fabian Schar has told a Swiss newspaper he is “very happy” at Newcastle United, where he has “support” from the club and fans after a string of impressive performances. “At the moment I am very happy,” the Switzerland international told Neue Zürcher Zeitung. “I am relatively easy to satisfy: If it is a good club, I am happy. “Last summer was the first in a couple of years that I did not have to think about where to play now and what happens next and that felt good.”
