Think Perez has done well on quite a few occasions, the goalie has made a couple of great saves. Shelveys passing seems like our only threat. Kenedy has been disappointing as well even before the suspension-incident. He doesn't need to be Ben Arfa every time he gets the ball. Lascelles MOTM so far. The ref has been terrible.

Low quality match. Can't think of anyone in b&w who's been particularly good. Perez has been okay I guess.

Manquillo is gash and Kenedy is going to be banned for being an idiot.

didnt u hear he was just kicking the air and there happened to be a marra right there

Got nothing up front. Ball isn't sticking to Joselu. Manquillo been awful.

Regarding the Kenedy thing what did the ref award a free kick to Cardiff for straight after it? Was it the kick itself or out else? Can't remember as I struggle to remember anything watching this dross. Hope we sort it out asap.

We're *always* terrible against clubs that celebrate every tackle and goal kick like they scored in the World Cup final btw.

That's because our own football isn't good enough to pass it round either.

Don't really see what Clark has done wrong, we've defended well other then Manquillo.

Out attack has bee wank mind.

It's not what he's done. Its the fact he's in place of a ball playing defender when he's not that when we bought two over the summer who are better than him at that.

Yeah - said the same thing here too. ZERO presence up top.

We have been poor, however Cardiff haven’t created much and we have created just as much and probably better opportunities than them.

We haven’t clicked in the game, and the referee has pulled us back a few yards by giving them everything. The good thing for us though is that I believe we have the capability to get better in this game, whereas I think this is all Cardiff have to offer. We certainly have the quality to beat them, our 2 chances have already shown this.

Such a lack of pace in our team

Weird that's your takeaway mind, I'd say the ability or lack of to do simple things like control a football under pressure is a much bigger issue than any lack of pace.

We haven't got an out ball.  We did well last season with Gayle on the last defender using his pace to create space

At least we are, Manquillo aside, not looking too troubled in defence.

Manquillo and Kenedy should both be sent off, idiots.

Not making one successful pass in the first half is criminal and Kenedy needs to be told to sort it out.

Injury to Manquillo may be a blessing if it forces us to change things a bit

Piss poor that. Kenedy is on smack, Manquillo not a footballer in any sense and ref is shite.

Need to be at 0-0 and get Rondon on to stand any chance. Feels horribly similar to the Huddersfield 1-0 loss last year.

Shelvey has been decent at times tbf.

He is pinging the odd nice long ball, but our football engine in general is non-existent. We are basically being reduced to hitting long balls now and then as our primary tactic because of it.

Think it’s more to do with us essentially being best at counter attacking which is almost impossible against long ball shithouses.

Still think we might pinch this.

Loads of players out there who just don’t fancy a fight. Kenedy and Manquillo have been utterly horrendous. Kenedy trying to do everything on his own and has done nowt.

Ritchie just a nothing player when he’s got a booking as his aggression is gone. They need a right old bollocking.

Pretty obvious that all team really need to do is sit on Jonjo and we can’t do nowt. Especially now instead of Lejeune playing out from the back you have us just going short back and forth or long to nowhere.

Ah well. A half to forget there. The England team of old seemed to raise or lower their game to match the opposition, and NUFC today remind me of that.

Joselu was anonymous, so get one of the other two on, maybe Muto if they're going to stand off and let Shelvey pass it through them. It looks a waste, but Muto plays left side for the Japanese national team if Rafa wants to pull Kenedy off, because he's having a mare too.

Diame came strong second half last week, and we could do with that again. We've had no control so far. A bit of control and the game is there to be won. Keep it at hoof and head tennis and they'll probably sneak one to win it.
