ToonArmy1892
He will be wishing he hadn't signed for us in a month or so.
pinkeye
I have said before that I have a friend who lives in Atlanta who absolutely raved about Almiron before he joined us, He has since watched every Newcastle match on TV and commented that we have not yet seen the best of him. That, to me, is a mouth watering prospect because I really like what I have seen so far! He also said that it is starting to become noticeable in their crowd at home games that there are several Atlanta fans wearing Newcastle shirts (Jerseys in his words) with #24 on the back! Rich
He looks quite tense to me still (body language expert dropping in, hur hur), once he settles the quality is clearly there.
xLiaaamx
He looks like a player holding back to me. Like he could be committing a man more, could be going for the throat more but instead he works a bit of space and passes it on. I think he needs to be greedier at times. Kanj
aye, think he does need to be more ruthless, go ahead and take more pops at goal. He's got a fantastic left peg on him.

Guest chopey
Worst game for us tonight but I'm convinced he'll be a star
Newcastle Fan
He definitely has the right attitude and physical ability, just needs to settle down.
Willow
Excellent for the most part but we all know a goal will settle him down a bit. Very promising
Gallowgate Toon
Next season will be his. For now, it's all just about getting him ready.
Guest godzilla
Worst game for us tonight but I'm convinced he'll be a star Did some good things, though second half especially was sloppy in possession. A goal will settle him massively
TRon
Still looks like he's trying too hard to impress, hopefully a goal will settle him down and he'll grow in confidence next season. There's obviously a special player in there.
Guest firetotheworks
His base level was excellent, if that makes sense? The simple stuff, plus effort sort of thing. It'll click, it seems like he has the personality to ensure it, you can see he's got so much desire to go with the pace and skill, and that it should get him there. triggs
He was fine but feel like he's quite poor when we're under the cosh a bit, always wants to create something rather than holding onto it or trying to win a foul which would be preferable sometimes to alleviate the pressure. Overall he was impressive though
Infinitely Content
I thought he played better tonight than in the last few games for sure. Nice that he was being found more when peeling off the high line of Leicester. Unlucky not to score in truth. Very pleasing stuff indeed.

Mattoon
Whether he scores or not he's completely changed the dynamic of the team and given us a sharper edge up front, worth the money just for that

Disco
Whether he scores or not he's completely changed the dynamic of the team and given us a sharper edge up front, worth the money just for that Agreed. Makes such a difference having someone who can run in behind. As I’ve said before, games like tonight force slow cumbersome defenders like Maguire and Morgan back a yard or two which means more space for Rondon, who held it up class tonight, to drop into as well giving Perez more space to operate in. No surprise our form has got a lot better since he arrived even if is critics will cry about no goals and whatnot.
Pilko
I really like him. Given time he'll be exceptional. He needs to learn when to just skelp a throw in off a defenders legs and let everyone catch up though. Few times he was furthest up by about 40 yards and he played some mental pass to nobody and lost the ball.
Stifler
Can’t see how he can be called out for a poor performance. I think he did alright, just tried too hard sometimes and some things didn’t fall for him. He always wanted the ball though and was always trying to get into space for it, where others would just have given up and hid. The only thing he could possibly call him out for today was a few of his shots.
