Leicester, Wolves, Sheffield United and Burnley all within touching distance of Europe. Even Bruce and his absolute bag of shit are equidistant from both the Champions League and the relegation zone. We could have achieved anything this year if we'd wanted to. Ah well, the superfans will take a few good days instead.

Sheffield Utd 2 pts off a CL place ffs. Does anyone seriously doubt we would have been up there if we had kept Rafa, Perez and Rondon?

Thiago is head and shoulders out there.

Can't really remember the circumstances of it but Barca letting him go is up there with as bad as any of the transfer decisions they've made in the last 10 years

Was it not just not having enough game time? Village Idiot[/member]?

Not enough game time triggered a lower transfer fee. He'd also been injuried lots that season, so it wasn't entirely our fault. We wanted to keep him.

Chelsea got some nice depth with their attacking mids - Barkley, Mount and RL Cheek - add to that Kovacic, Kante and Jorginho (plus Gilmour) and it looks good for them - wonder if they will recall Pallisic from Atlanta next year...
