Was there for the first time in a while today and was shocked to find the leather shop upstairs next to Boots has closed. No idea if it's just moved as I only walked to the club shop and back to M&S, proper end of an era, or the police finally found out what it was a front for, never seen anyone in there buying anything in 30 odd year [emoji38]

What was it a front for, out of interest?

I have absolutely no idea, I'm just spitballing and talking shite.

I do tend to assume, rightly or wrongly, that businesses that are around for ages and never seem to actually be doing any business must have something going on, likewise businesses that seem to be overstaffed, such as the club shop at SJP today, which had about 6 people stood doing fuck all.

It's basically an involuntary reflex at this point, probably some deep lying trauma from work!

I was at the Metrocentre yesterday with my eldest daughter. First time in years. Believe me, lads...it is very very grim now, compared to yesteryear. It's so sad and soulless.

Never forget that this man’s wife left him, receiving one of the largest payouts in British divorce history, married someone else, had a kid with them, then came back to him for round 2.

He’s launched a takeover bid for Hugo Boss now.

Ugh. Bad enough he started selling it in his shops and devaluing the brand, now it's sank to Lonsdale levels.

Didn't think Hugo Boss would be able to sink lower than they did in the 30s, but here we are.

From those sleek sharp lines and angles on the SS uniforms to saggy, rugby watcher bootcut jeans. As Steps famously sang, a “Tragedy”.

Following the news, the surviving hitler family members have issued a statement.  They no longer wish for hitler or the Nazis to be associated with Hugo boss. They don’t want their reputation sullied.
