Joelinton stands out like a sore thumb.  Bleached hair, big old unit, passionate, does love a foul and a big challenge plus he is always arguing with, well..... everyone

On the subject of Spurs.  Kulusevski has a bit of a nasty streak in him I reckon.  The elbow against Chelsea that he somehow got away with.  When you see that and then the Gordon incident.  It makes you wonder how accidental that fully tensed shoulder to the face really was.  Romero is an absolute mentalist and then Bergvall should have been sent off last night and for his age loves putting it about.  Looks a great player already, TBF.  Son got 3 reds in a season once.  But of course 'HE IS NOT THAT SORT OF PLAYER.'

Perhaps the moaning twat should look a bit closer to home.

Plus (obviously not there anymore, but...) the amount of shit Kane got away with was ridiculous

They can fuck right off, cockney wanks :gm's dummy:

That through ball to set up Isak for the last one against Wolves. We see you big J.

Yes!

He's really good at those, but he often gets robbed of the assist because the finish doesn't come.

So many times with Gayle and Wilson in particular.

Yesterday's was a beauty man.

His attacking instincts are really underrated. Sometimes he gets overzealous and makes a careless pass or takes a wild shot(which usually happens when he's boxed in with no options) but most of the time his decision making is spot on and if there's a line breaking pass on, he'll take the risk and go for it.  To hit that pass with his left foot today was just incredible. Feel like he are 'wowed' by something new every game with Joelinton.

I have friends who absolute hate him but would love to have him in their team - he's colossal.

Not sure if I dreamt it or if I read it somewhere, but I'm pretty sure a player from Bromley asked if they meant Thanos when asked how strong Joelinton is

The Bromley player mentions him in that tiktok I shared on the Bromley thread, iirc 😂

You didn't dream it - was Sowunmi, the centre-back who is also pretty massive. I watch Bromley a bit as a I live near and seems like their fans loved their visit (Londoners love the Toon).

Another who has benefitted so much from the Tonali and Bruno switch up. Can't think of a time where simply switching two players within a team has had such an effect, it's been weeks and I'm still nerding out about it.

The balance of the team is so good now and it allows Joelinton's strengths to shine through. We don't need him to be a particularly creative force in the final third, just let Tonali and Bruno dictate things while Joe goes around powerbombing people through tables.

Sorry in advance for the daft question - but never seen it mentioned in the press - but what's with his hand being bandaged up - was it some issue months ago - sprained wrist ? and he's just keeping it protected ?

Its polished and ready to dig someone. [emoji38]

Love Joelinton and his physicality but games like today his lack of top level technique stands out

Obviously he wasn't the only one that had a poor game but when teams are on it he's an easy target to getting the ball back

It is a real shame that Willock has been so out of sorts and Miley had so long out and away from the first team. As in games like today. We could do with a different option in midfield.
