Never sure how ASM would perform against a team that sits in, much better in an open attacking game from both sides, but course he’d have had an impact more than Fraser did. Either that or Anderson comes in from the start. Our wide options outside of ASM are absolutely dire. Murphy gets the most stick, but they are all equally ineffective and well below the standard required. Can’t even split them for shitness. That's almost 29 games per season on average. The three seasons before joining us he played 34, 30 and 34 games in Ligue 1. It's frustrating that he's injured but this feels a bit like re-writing history after a frustrating set of results. Nah, because when he comes back he takes a while to get back up to speed, and then people are always wondering if he's fit yet. We can't rely on him to the extent we do right now it's ridiculous. Of course but I also think it's kneejerking to say he is as unreliable as Wilson when he has played 34, 30, 34, 26, 25 and 35 league games during his career so far.
