Potentially interesting.

(Or potentially bollocks)

I'll go with the latter I think.

How can he possibly stress the confidentiality around it and then state his direct involvement with the specifics of piracy regarding the bid.

If all that was real, you better believe this person is getting a smacked arse right now.

Don't understand why he is waffling about hiding his IP. Like I say if any of that is real I don't think his company would have much bother plucking him out considering the exact details of his department and dealings in all of this.

One of the many reasons I avoid Twitter. Gives a platform to people who I can only presume have some sort of mental deficiency and crave the attention.

Certainly not showing on the Law Society website as a solicitor

I was pretty confident it would happen later this week, but was more leaning towards Wednesday-Friday, so for no particular reason, I'm going to ignore Ollie and his 80% hunch and stick with later. But it will happen this week!

Why are you sure that's his real name? He might just be a big fan of Gavin Peacock and Michael Chopra.

I'm sure it isn't - just looks a little funny

If the takeover were to fall through, would there be a statement saying as much, and who would release it? Premier League or the club?

I don't think there will be a comment in any scenario from the Premier League.  They will advise the buyer and seller as to the success/failure of the O&D Test.  It will then be up to the buyer/seller to then announce anything and/or launch legal proceedings (it may be that the first anyone would find out about a failure of the O&D Test is someone noticing civil proceedings being filed in one of the courts).

It would be entirely down to either the club or Staveley to make a statement.

Maybe his name is actually Michael Gavins and it's a clever pseudonym

That's like something Homer Simpson would think was clever.

"I know, Simpson Homer"

"A certain agitator... for the sake of privacy let's call him Gavin M. No wait that's too obvious... let's just say G. Michaels"
