Is the Hitzfeld campaign dossier still widely available? needs dusting off if not.

Dunno, since then the world has changed, 350 pages at least for dossiers to be taken serious now. Sure someone can add an extra page though?! Hope Wor Ottmar is doing OK btw. Looking back in all seriousness, he would have been a bad appointment, we should have went for someone like Bruce...

Wilder

Lampard

Howe

Hodgson

Dyche

English managers...

Bruce

Pardew

Big Sam

All managed us as well

No English manager has ever won the premier league.

The two closest English managers were Ron Atkinson when the premier began in 1992. Runner up.

And our very own king Kev runner up on two occasions.

The early premier league years were full of many managers from the UK but that soon changed and we are where we are today because foreign players are perhaps managed better by foreign coaches. Who knows?

No, just once. Dalglish in -97.

Yeah of course, he didn't finish the season.??

I'm pretty sure he would have got to the 68 points Dalglish managed to finish most of what Kev started.

Pretty sure if anyone hires Poch before next season he has to pay Spurs so that might rule him out if they are looking for a quick appointment

Sky said a few days ago when news of his gardening leave payments being reduced came up that the period where compensation would have to be paid by any new employment was now over.

Has anyone heard who is been lined up for the football director role ? It might give a clue to the new manager.

Nikos Dabizas linked the other day (I posted a link below). I also thought I read another article elsewhere since that had more of a headline implying he was just interested in being DOF rather than he was the one lined up.

Does anyone else think they might know something we don't regarding how the FA wants to end the season? They're buying the club before we are guaranteed to be safe, which means we could still potentially go down after the takeover.
