James
What a wonderful weekend this turn out to be? Had we sign three players in quick succession ever before? Pardew’s Crench signings were often quite quick fire. Think Rafa had a burst too

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
What a wonderful weekend this turn out to be? Had we sign three players in quick succession ever before? January 2013 we signed Sissoko, Haidara, Yanga-Mbiwa and Gouffran within days of one another IIRC.

toontownman
Whipped cream and cherry on top when Bruce puts pen to paper with a new 8 year contract.
Guest
Can’t imagine this was the move he was expecting when he chose to sit out the last 9 games of the season.
St1pe
Can’t imagine this was the move he was expecting when he chose to sit out the last 9 games of the season. On that point I wonder what scuppered his Arsenal, Spurs moves etc. He was heavily linked with those types of clubs January onwards.

Not wanting to be a backup as he’s nowhere good enough to be anything other.

Yorkie
Who's getting dropped for Fraiser? This is just it. What is the purpose of this signing? Value is all very well but has Fraser actually been identified as the type of player we need?
joeyt
Striker Fraser Almiron ASM

I don't see a problem position wise we've lost Lazaro who played a similar sort of position.

Cronky
I imagine Bruce will pick two from Fraser, Miggy and ASM, depending on fitness, the need for rest etc My bet is that Fraser will play the most games, ASM the least. Just an opinion, chaps.
STM
Again, no suprise that Newcastle fans have forgot about the whole concept of having a squad of players capable of getting a game. Especially in a Steve Bruce injury-ridden era. I'd be more worried of we have enough depth than whether this player or that player will get a game. Thorpinho
Blatantly obvious to be a 4231, shelvey hendrick behind fluid front 4 of fraser, almiron, asm, wilson. Not that bruce knows what to do but its better than last season on paper.

Just highlighting the inevitable lack of any gameplan at all.
