Looks a yard short of pace currently but he’s getting crowded out by a load of defenders too to be fair. Our wide front three do tend to stay very wide. Maybe something to work on and mix it up a bit. Also I’d like our wingers to swap sides occasionally. Today a classic example of having the pace either side to get beyond full backs but both crossing with their weaker foot.
Slim
Even Haaland ain't scoring atm. Shit happens. Sure Isak prob get a start again Southampton and prob reason he didn't start.

FLUMPO235
Looks off the pace for whatever reason. Post take over, is this the longest run he’s gone without scoring when he’s started?

Watched him really closely in QF game, and seems that his touch/decision making wasn’t as consistently good as we’d (and he’d) expect. Perhaps just a form/opportunity thing rather than a running on empty fatigue thing. Maybe needs more time rather than benched, but Eddie and crew will make that call. Regardless of what happens beyond that, if he’s fit enough for 90 mins, I’ll be surprised if Isak doesn’t start away to Southampton.
Kanj
Odd because i thought his touch was at an all time best versus Fulham.

He could do with the other forwards or front midfielder being closer to him when gets the ball. As it is, he’s needing about 3 touches to get it to a teammate. That’s too many. He needs closer support.

Gallowgate Toon
He's definitely a bit off but he needs support. Occupies a lot of important space on his own for us. I think we need to find a way to get him and Isak on together, we're not blessed with great goalscorers in the squad outside of those 2.

They could swap for a few minutes here and there. At the very least it gives the defensive opponents more to think about.
ExiledGeordie
I think he’ll be fine but judging by Howe’s quotes he’s missed large chunks of training so no wonder he’s looked a bit off. I’m sure Howe will manage his minutes appropriately and he’ll get that sharpness back in the coming weeks.
Ben
What's wrong with his positioning just now, he seems to be whereever the ball is not just now.

Wolfcastle
Rarely plays well but can finish chances and half-chances better than anyone else. If were not creating chances for him. He's Wood.

Dr Venkman
Feel bad saying it because he’s been so good, but we’re carrying him now. Isak can do so much more, he simply must start.
