[emoji38] We need balls now and to start selling the shit we have left over pre takeover

This - should have cashed in on him season we finished 4th - he’s worth jack all now

Even he gets himself fit again the mental aspect and fear of being injured must be constantly on his mind, Osula will be getting some good minutes sooner rather than later

Christ almighty. If he was a race horse he'd have been put down by now.

Hindsight but selling him after finishing 4th and he was fit and on the back of 18 goals would've been ideal. Could've got decent money for him then as well. He'll leave for nowt, now.

Howe was very determined to keep him. We should have got rid earlier.

Wasn’t even hindsight to sell him in 2023. Isak was the number one striker and we needed to sell players. Club decided not too, spend, then had the financial mess this summer (and probably why Staveley was sent packing).

Would expect moving forward for things to be different now when it comes to selling at the peak time, with a consistent list of players refreshed ready to target as a replacement should an offer come in.

His valuation is absolute rock bottom now. He really is Elijah Price from Unbreakable.

Unless we can flog him to Saudi - it’s the least he owes us

Plenty said we should have cashed in when his stock was high after the 4th placed season. But we certainly should have at least tried to sell him for a fee a lot smaller than his ability is worth this summer. I don’t think it was ever reported that we were looking to move him on?

Just can’t rely on him whatsoever. Absolutely pointless keeping him around after last season and seems we were all blinded by his strong end to the season the year before.

It’s a real shame how it is ending up. All gone a bit sour after him being a bit of a shining light for us during some dark, awful years. Along with some quality games under Howe.

Was just reading the other day he was looking good in training.

This is so tragic man. What a mess we're in if Isak doesn't get a consistent run of full fitness.

Contract's up in 9 months. It's over, lads.

Best case is he’s back in December, gets 5 games, scores 2 goals, and it’s enough to entice a club in bottom 5 to sign him for £5m in desperation for goals.

I wonder if any teams in touch down the bottom of the league or perhaps a team abroad with something to play for. Might pay a nominal fee and/or a % of his wages up until his contract expires? May as well just get whatever we can for him.

Either that or he is even more fucked than has been reported and he should probably just retire.

I mean, just look at the below. Probably in his best interest to call it a day whilst he is still relatively healthy:

It might just be me looking for the negatives. But I’m sure we used to hear from him and see him on a lot of the social media stuff whilst he was out? So something seems amiss there.

Perhaps I’ve not been paying attention. But barely read/heard anything from him. Bar one of those post-match win videos.
