Callum Wilson set to be out for around 8 weeks with new hamstring injury (Howe)

That's just how it feels by the way, I've totally made that up. Just don't remember him having just the odd couple of weeks here and there.

Love Wilson but there’s absolutely no way he’s got a World Cup schedule in him. I do how we keep him going forward for squad depth.

Him occasionally coming off the bench and chipping in might help reduce the constant injuries.

Hmm first choice I reckon may still be Wilson with Isak on the right. Plays that, hardly hurts Salah's scoring.

All depends on how well Isak does in that position. If he is banging them in for fun then Wilson will sit out.

Aye,  all this talk of the changes they're making this year and he's injured earlier

All the driving was supposed to be fucking his hamstrings up. Stops that and they go again.

It is weird how some players get injured all the time without anything fundamentally wrong with them, but someone like Demba Ba supposedly has a ticking time bomb in his knee and never got injured.

Never injured is pushing it a little. Granted, not for us, and not his ‘time bomb’ knee.

His best spell at a club in terms of form was with us as well.  His goals to game ratio was better at Besiktas but its a pretty poor league despite the food being outstanding.

What’s really worrying is that Wilson gets his muscle injuries without seemingly over exerting himself. You don’t look at him running and think, shit he’s going to do himself there. There was one injury where he pulled up at the Leazes touchline but even then he was hardly over stretching.

As said, really good striker, made of glass.
