Well done Nuno.

Good to see Dele back on the pitch too. Mourinho would have you believe it was impossible to beat a team like Man City with Dele on the pitch because he's too lazy.

Hjoberg was a really good singing from Mou though.

For sure. Also saw something in Tanganga and brought him through initially.

Problem is he thinks everyone in the team has to be like Hojberg and Tanganga. 100% committed and agressive all the time.

Game just doesn't work like that. Have to find a way to accommodate players like Dele and Pogba in the team for what they provide going forward. And use other players to cover them in your system.

Nuno went more of a 4-3-3 today and brought Skip in to sit deepest and it worked very well and helped provide more of a framework where Dele could feature and not cost the team too much.

Boro reject Braithwaite still banging them in for Barca.

Had to look up his Wiki.

“On 20 February 2020, Barcelona triggered Braithwaite's release clause of €18 million and signed him on a four-and-a-half year contract. His release clause was set to €300 million.[27]Barcelona were granted an emergency exception to sign Braithwaite outside of a transfer window because of the long-term injury of Ousmane Dembélé.[28] Two days after signing, Braithwaite made his debut in a home match against Eibar, coming on as a substitute in the 72nd minute.”

What a crazy 48hrs that dude had.

Was a fucking joke that transfer, as Leganes weren't allowed to replace him.

Spurs played Man City expertly in terms of game plan and tactics, Rafa esque in many ways. City need a centre-forward desperately.
