Sad to see him go as I wanted him to be given more chances this season but this is the shitty cartel tyranny we live under.

He was never going to be good enough for us, sorry to say.

No and there's a fair chance he will be a better player than Minteh.... buy he hasn't scored in Holland.

Fwiw, Elliot Anderson would tear it up in Holland.

I think Minteh has a much higher potential ceiling than Anderson and the interest in him reflected that. But anyway, we'll see. Anderson whatever he does from here won't let anyone down.

My only question is, I don't get how they have another £35 million to spend under PSR rules, thought they'd be cutting it fine too.

They made over 40 I think selling Mangala and a defender who’s name I can’t spell.

Yeah, also this outlay for Anderson isn't going to really impact them at all on this year's PSR number.

It'll be future years where they'll have to pay that off, while the incoming funds all count as one big chunk this year.

Good look to him, it’s a shame that we have to sell a local lad to satisfy PSR but that’s the world we’re in.

it’ll be interesting to see how this affects the number of local players staying at their home clubs going forward, pure profit is the statement of choice now.

More bad, cold fallout from these rules is academies openly being seen as farms to fund spending rather than a route to that clubs first team which would negate having to spend.
