Joe Willock has not trained yet but is making 'good progress' (Howe)

A goal threat, carries the ball well, athletic and generally decent technically, 20m for him would be money well spent IMO.

Try telling Bruce that. He'd rather keep Shelvey on the pitch on a yellow card and lose a 2 goal lead.

Think he has a lot of potential Rafa would turn him in to a champions league level player.

He has all the physical gifts needed to be a top player. Just needs to be coached more closely and learn more about the game at the highest level

From what I’ve heard he’s been critical of our training regime since he joined...

You mean like that other lad Fraser? Wonder what happened to him.

On Joe Willock:

"We would love to keep him here. He is the type of player you'd love to build your club around. Whether we can or not I'm not quite sure."

Maybe start playimg him then

No way we sign him.

He is valued at 20-25 Million and why would he want to sign for us when he could probably play for a better club.

Looking likely to me he's got a clause in his loan deal which means we pay another fee after so many league starts, hence his bench warming.

If thats the case we should sub him on for Shelvey the first time the ball goes out of play.

Scored some big goals for us.

He's the only player that really runs beyond the forward. Given he can pass a ball five yards and doesn't gas after sixty minutes he should be starting every game. If we had any kind of ambition we'd be after him permanently.

No chance he'd want to come here under Bruce and win fuck all.
