For the first time since his midfield conversion he looked like he was getting ran about a bit. Wonder if the illness Longstaff had has effected others?

I would love to see this guy given a run on the left. All his best moments seem to come from when he ends up in those areas, and he can just be more direct with his dribbling more often, as this is when he looks most dangerous.

 

Think against more aggressive teams like Villa were today, he can get pushed around a bit in the middle.

Agreed. Today, after it was clear we were getting overrun, it should’ve been a combo of him being on the left and Eddie dropping everyone back to a more counter attacking force. He thrives in that.
