Can you imagine anyone doing what Pillock did when Shearer was captain back in the day? It wouldn't happen then and it shouldn't happen now. I'm not saying players aren't allowed to disagree with their captain, but he is still the captain and should command a certain level of respect - if Pillock wasn't happy about being called out for not passing, then it's something he picks up with Bruno after the match.

Shearer was on the pitch when Bowyer vs Dyer happened.

Totally agree and I don’t think it’ll be lost on Eddie or Bruno, he has to go.

“Ugly scenes” dramatic much.

looking forward to selling willock, a classic case of what could have been with him and would have wished him well until he told our captain to fuck off and shut the fuck up on the pitch at the final home match of the season and what is probably his last match at SJP.

Hey Joe, remember every fucking time Bruno callled you Willockinho and put an arm around you when shit was not going well for you, daft as fuck reaction. Telling your own teammate to shut the fuck up after you took a shot that was blocked for the billionth time. The best player on the team demands standards, and JW is not up to it.

Been a decent enough servant here and played his part. Ultimately injuries got in the way of his building consistency and development.

Like Gordon, it's just time to move on. He's only 26 so got a good few years left in the tank somewhere else.

That happened? I’d prefer the crowd stayed out of it tbh. Obviously Bruno is rightly a fan favourite, but they’re both our players.

I don't think it had owt to do with anyone picking a side and moreso with the fact Bruno was taking the subsequent corner. Feel like it's all something of nowt and folk wanting there to be something where there was nowt tbh. Bruno wants the ball but it isn't a glaringly obvious pass and the moment fast went by and Willock subsequently shot. Meh...so what. They both give their all, all the time. So I'm not too concerned.

His early run where he scored key goals was excellent. Did really well then. Some big assists too. Inconsistent since then but doesn't score enough or assist enough now.

He was immense in 22/23 tbf

Really looking forward to him leaving tbh. Ceded midfield control when he came on in place of Sandro.

No idea why he didn’t go left and swap with  Ramso.

So everyone just decided Willock was in the wrong because Bruno is more likeable and a better player?

I'm all for someone telling our captain to fuck off if our captain is acting like a cunt.

That’s always how these things are decided

The problem with Willock is more on his mental side. We have tried our best and I don’t think he would have any further improvement. Bye.

I honestly didn't know where he was playing at times he was all over the pitch. Don't remember tonali springing up all over when he played the position. 😂

Didn't look like Bruno was acting a cunt though.

Just the standard I was free for the pass schtick and Willock just went off [emoji38]

He's such an inconsistent guy. He's definitely not going to fit in the double pivot. He needs the freedom to roam and make things happen. I don't dislike him, he's been a good lad for the most part. I don't even mind the arguing - I'd rather have that than mice out there like the rat.

He can be exceptional at times but for some reason has zero consistency and is injury-prone.

If he went to a club where he'll be a key player, and gets a run of games, I think he'll do really well.

But time to move him on.
