Jordan
A full speed Willock is the player that gives us the balance in midfield, not Longstaff.
500bhp
This guy is an enigma. Can go from prime Peter Beardsley to 35 year old Jack Colback week to week. Fucks knows how to fit him into the team!
AyeDubbleYoo
He’s always been prone to untidiness at times, one of the reasons I questioned if he’s really a CM. When things aren’t going right he can look a mess. TBH I ultimately think we need a new 3rd midfielder (maybe Miley) to go with Bruno and Tonali. But he isn't technically good enough to be a high level no 10 Though, he does possess qualities which make him an asset for us. Though he was poor today, he does offer a lot when he plays that LCM role I'd love for us to sign a proper no 10, like a Maddison, Odegaard or Paqueta, someone who is technically of a high level

He’s an old fashioned attacking midfielder - and a good one at that. Shame he’s made out of cobwebs.
r0cafella
1 hour ago, Ronaldo said: Me too, but it’ll never happen. It probably requires a new manager and a lot of turnover in the squad. We've recruited for Eddie's 433 and have a squad full of 8's. Not a 10 or 6 to be found.
KingArthur
The problem yesterday for him was that it was very physical game and Wan Bissaka at RB is great defender 1v1. Never really got going.

Just then need to sign a more rounded defensive CM who can provide balance alongside a Tonali / Joelinton.

nufcjmc Posted Saturday at 17:55 Share Posted Saturday at 17:55 Don't want to be a negative nelly on the back of a good win and team performance but thought he was poor. Can't ride a challenge to save his life, longstaff level of finishing skills and can't tackle either when he can be bothered to engage its a foul. Got in Gordon's way in the first half a few times too trying to occupy the same areas. I hope it's rust or confidence or some other issue but he's doing nothing to me to not make an easy choice to bring big joe straight back in. He was already a candidate for me to sell in the summer due to his injury record but really hoping he would be useful as his driving and bringing the ball forward basically the willock from the 4th place season. Tiresias Posted Saturday at 17:57 Share Posted Saturday at 17:57 (edited) Willock needs regular gametime to get to his best. Everytime he comes back from injury he needs about 2 or 3 games before he gets close, dunno if its a confidence thing or takes him time to trust his body considering his injuries. Unfortunately this means while he isnt holding down an automatic starting position i dunno if he'll ever build up that head of steam for us right now Edited Saturday at 17:58 by Tiresias

Yeah absolutely but may be difficult to shift with his injury record unfortunately
M1tche Posted Saturday at 18:05 Share Posted Saturday at 18:05 Full speed Willock starts, this version doesn't, and if Mikey keeps coming on and looking assured he could end up being 3rd choice for LCM behind for Joelinton and Miley. Really hope he find his form again.
Yorkie Posted Saturday at 18:09 Share Posted Saturday at 18:09 He's probably the one not obvious sale I'd make if given the chance. Needs a run in the side to look like anything but you feel like that'll probably never happen for him, be it through injuries or tactical choice. Lordy Lord that effort before he went off.
