I'd love for us to sign a proper no 10, like a Maddison, Odegaard or Paqueta, someone who is technically of a high level

We have one who can do that for us, Bruno.

Just then need to sign a more rounded defensive CM who can provide balance alongside a Tonali / Joelinton.

Don't want to be a negative nelly on the back of a good win and team performance but thought he was poor. Can't ride a challenge to save his life, longstaff level of finishing skills and can't tackle either when he can be bothered to engage its a foul. Got in Gordon's way in the first half a few times too trying to occupy the same areas.

I hope it's rust or confidence or some other issue but he's doing nothing to me to not make an easy choice to bring big joe straight back in. He was already a candidate for me to sell in the summer due to his injury record but really hoping he would be useful as his driving and bringing the ball forward basically the willock from the 4th place season.

Willock needs regular gametime to get to his best. Everytime he comes back from injury he needs about 2 or 3 games before he gets close, dunno if its a confidence thing or takes him time to trust his body considering his injuries. Unfortunately this means while he isnt holding down an automatic starting position i dunno if he'll ever build up that head of steam for us right now

Without any injury or suspension he's not going to get that time we spent big money on him 6 goals in 86 appearances no idea of the assists but we can't afford to "carry him" it's frustrating as we seen sparks of something great. 26 next summer and in a psr world I feel his time to deliver will run out.

Yeah absolutely but may be difficult to shift with his injury record unfortunately

He's probably the one not obvious sale I'd make if given the chance. Needs a run in the side to look like anything but you feel like that'll probably never happen for him, be it through injuries or tactical choice. Lordy Lord that effort before he went off.

Full speed Willock starts, this version doesn't, and if Mikey keeps coming on and looking assured he could end up being 3rd choice for LCM behind for Joelinton and Miley. Really hope he find his form again.

In an none psr world you keep him for his running and energy and I think peak willock offers something different to the other midfield players however what we are seeing is more non impactful or poor performances obviously mitigation by the injuries stacked on one another. Maybe the injuries is holding back or he has lost something due to the impact of them. Right now if we could get our money back I would snap your hands off.

I still think we get more than we paid, as he's now proven he's a decent level premier league player. Unfortunately he's dropping into the group of players you'd accept letting get to help fund improvements.
