Newcastle vs Southampton - 06/02/21 @ 15:00 (live on BT Sport)

Fraser seemed to be coming into a bit of form. After a disjointed season for him. Plus his set piece delivery is the best I can remember at the club for a good while.

How the fuck does Hendrick still get a game?! No legs in the midfield yet again. The Longstaff bros have not been great, I mean, who is under this clown? But at least they seem to run about a bit. Matty in particular.

No Lascelles, Clark or Fernandez. Not sure what else we should have done in defence re: Hayden?

Hendrick to try and do what Hayden was doing and Willock comes in to the middle to add some mobility. Aside from Hayden not being in the DM position, I think this is potentially a stronger line up.

Fingers crossed ASM is fully fit, we cannot afford to lose him for any amount of time between now and end of season

No Clark today, or any other fit CB f***s us over there by losing Hayden in midfield.

Bruce loves Hendrick, and Shelvey though. We can all see their both miles of it, but he obviously feels he can trust them and rely on them.

Moving Hayden out of that midfield is going to be a huge loss, he's the only one who's ever switched on in a defensive transition. Hendrick and Shelvey are going to get their heads spun, and Willock is his first game. Would have preffered Krath, or a youth team CB in and keep Hayden in midfield.

Clark's wife was in labour, yesterday. Was mentioned on Total Sport, last night.

Worst time to face Southampton, although it'll be a handy narrative when we lose - "Steve, you lost to Sheff Utd and a side that have just been beaten 9-0"

Not sure how much ASM can play, but would rather replace him from a winning position than bring him on when losing.

Krafth or Dummett could have played CB.

Or hell, he could have not loaned the best one at the club.
