Dokko
Apparently we were all agreed with Choudary then Bruce flapped his gums about resigning if he didn't get anyone in so ashley called his bluff and cancelled the deal. Totally made up but that's what I'm going with on this situation ?
Disco
Looking at it from his own brand/POV it’s been a blinder of a window. He’s a martyr to his fawning thick mates in the press and he’s more likely than a couple of weeks ago to get a payoff before the end of the season. He’ll be absolutely buzzing. toontownman
Imagine Bruce is eating a late night Kebab in his chair thinking... "Wait you mean I actually have to coach the players I have now? How does that work? where do I start? Order another donair me thinks.."

Guest
Why would Bruce feel the need to sign Choudhury and why would Ashley sign it off anyway? In Bruce’s mind Shelvey, Hayden, S.Longstaff, Willock, Almiron & Hendrick are all central-midfielders. We’re so covered that he felt he could send Matty Longstaff out for a year. Ben
With a bit of luck Craig Hope will go after Bruce and Edwards today and rub their noses in it.
Guest
All we’ll get is how harshly poor old Brucey was treated from his pals. Some fans will buy it and we’ll still get 40k every week.
St1pe
I’m kind of curious to see how he deals with it in the media. I’m desperate for him to walk. It’s the only hope I’ve got left.

Wullie
The amount of people who still pay Ashley money to go to matches that are on Twitter saying "if he had any self respect Bruce would walk!" is laugh out loud funny.

gjohnson
So we've effectively spent nothing with wages down, and sell on fees coming. Yet we've got no money. Don't p*** on me and tell me it's raining...that's what's happened. We make loan payments to mike, yet the loan never seems to go down? Don't the accounts show that we pay this almost every season yet it still seems to be the same amount? In theory we have a good model for not going bust by not paying out any more than we have in the bank, but it simply doesn't work when no-one else does it...kind of like having to buy a Corsa outright, when all the neighbours are borrowing to get BMWs and Mercedes. Yes you have transport, but it looks and handles badly
nbthree3
Daily Star think we've had a good window https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league-transfers-best-worst-24883235 9: Newcastle United - A quiet window but that may be a good thing as Steve Bruce looks to build on last season’s 12th-placed finish. Joe Willock’s permanent move and the Santiago Munoz’s loan, straight from Goal , will have fans smiling.

Yesterday he was tweeting some nonsense that there was a shitstorm brewing, now he's dialled it down to Brucie being frustrated and seeking answers. No one will give the fat pillock any answers other than "don't like it, then feel free to fuck off". He is absolutely disrespected and probably despised by the club hierarchy, but he's cheap and good at licking arse so will be tolerated as long as we can stay out of the relegation zone.
