ToonArmy1892
You have to take into account the come down the players will be experiencing, a world class manager to a useless one, they will be all over the place and they weren't very good anyway. loki679
Aye but if they throw a few quid at it he could potentially put this team out which I think would have enough to survive even under Bruce. Dubravka Schar Lascelles Lejeune Yedlin <New RWB> Longstaff Hayden Almiron Joelinton <New ST>

Astroblack
I think I’d take Elmohamedy over Yedlin. He’s like a poorer version of Antonio Valencia but could be useful. 31. Not as old as I thought. Can’t see Villa letting him go tbh.

It's alot worse than the first relegation team, we had Colo, Owen, Viduka, Martins, Given till January and we still got relegated, anyone thinking Bruce has a chance of keeping this rabble up is mental. It was a minor miracle that Rafa kept our absolute shitfest of a squad up, let alone Brewce.

Dubravka: Still time for him to leave Schar/Lascelles or Lejeune; Would not surprise me to see one or two of them go. Longstaff: the same Hayden: ditto Almiron either, or he won't be workman like enough for PardBruce Elliot Darlow Clark or Fernandez Colback and Shellvey Atsu/Ritchie Weakens it a fair bit. Guest
For all the hyperbole, it’s probably 50-50 in reality. Think Sheff Utd & Norwich will go straight back down, we’re one of two or three that will finish between 16th & 18th.

Happinesstan
He's got Rafa's squad, minus the goals. It's fucking hilarious. I'm prepared to give him a chance, because he doesn't have one, and I don't care. I was going to watch my 'Last of the summer wine' boxset this summer, but I haven't even broken the seal yet. Guest
It won’t be as comfortable like. Rafa has us safe about 5-6 games out. Bruce might edge us to 37-38 near the death.
NG32
Our goals against will sky rocket and we wont have anyone to score enough for us to balance it out We will get fucking egged this season.
geordiedean
It's near impossible for us to replace 60% of our goals from last year. Couple that with the organisation Rafa had and our ability to not get dicked and win games by scoring just once then it makes it an even harder task as I can see our GD being fucked from the first 10 games. We are going to need a miracle once the first 10 games are over Will be in the bottom 3 all season playing an impossible game of catchup
Andy
Defence might barely keep us up again, but teams who can't score goals will always struggle to stay up. I think Longstaff and Almiron will contribute 4 or 5 each this season, Schar and Ritchie have a few goals in them, Gayle or Muto half a dozen or so at best if they play all season... Survival basically hinges on Joelinton or whichever striker comes in scoring at least 10-15 goals.

The figures Rondon & Perez got last season wasn’t far off what Mitrovic & Wijnaldum got when we went down for instance.
