Dokko
Nailed on IMO: http://i40.tinypic.com/o8glf5.jpg F*cking hell Sometimes I change results for effect, this time it was my gut and first thoughts. My gut just dropped, off for a shit. Going down to goals scored rather than just GD, that would be awful.
cp40
Ok- so if Wigan win tonight we drop into bottom three- but is that really as bad as it appears?- it keeps pressure on the sides just above Sunderland, and forces them, southampton etc, to perform in remaining games. Essentially it doesn't matter either way, if we don't beat QPR we are fucked, if we do we are very very likely to survive.

Essentially it doesn't matter either way, if we don't beat QPR we are f***ed, if we do we are very very likely to survive. That is true, I very much doubt Wigan will drop. Its us or Norwich IMO and it all hinges on the QPR game.

AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think Sunderland are any way out of it yet. The Di Canio effect has basically already worn off, their players are dropping like flies.

loki679
This is messed up. Half the bloody division can still go down. Just win against QPR. That's it, just attack and win. For once this season, attack, please.
Spider Jerusalem
http://i44.tinypic.com/73feph.png I thought this was a prediction for next years' league table at first. Never thought of looking that high up for us.
NewJerseyMag
Everyone from about 11th down are in the mire, to a greater or lesser degree. We have to beat QPR..... a result last day is unlikely but I guess you never know.
DJ_NUFC
I just don't see how we'll fashion a win at QPR. I really am worried about this game, and part of me sees us messing this up so badly. We simply haven't seen the hunger and desire to win that's needed in so many games this season, is that going to change now, in this one game, the only game in which it's needed? I fucking hope so. But realistically, a part of me believes we're already down
AyeDubbleYoo
I can't go along with that, surely we have enough to beat that shower of shite. I'm not confident because so much rides on it, but it's not as if they'll be strong favourites.
DJ_NUFC
On paper, yes, we should've been mid-table comfortably by now. But week after week we've just seen no positive movement from our players, no players "lining up to score" a la Wigan, no self belief. And cowardly tactics and defeatist thinking. The two draws have been somewhat positive as we could've freaking lost those, but we seem to have not generated any momentum from them either! We closed those games parked in our own half.
