Certainly looks like Ashley has chosen the very best to fight PL.

I’m leaning towards this being sorted before ever reaching court.

"De Marco also served as a non-executive director at QPR, a club he supports"

Jamie Reuben is also a director of QPR....

He left before Reuben arrived at QPR.

Oh hold on, you're right. There's no *possible* way they could know each other. They'll hardly be moving in the same circles at all.

He very well could know him, but considering he left the QPR board about 9 years before Jamie Rueben joined it and under at least 1 different owner, as well as rumoured to being barred from the club, I’m going to guess he won’t know him through QPR.

Christ. I knew Bobby Moncur. And [there's every chance] he knows me.

I once asked him, at Newcastle Races just before he became a director, what the hell he thought Ashley was up to. He never returned for the main course.

That may be exaggeration. I don't know if he'd eaten. But he did leave pretty sharpish.

The ramblings of this actual vagrant, and the cryptic tweets from a Mike Ashley parody Twitter account, suggest to me that something very big indeed is just round the corner.

More reliable than some local journalists I’d suggest.

Takeover happens: claims he’s the winner.

Takeover doesn’t happen: claims he was talking about something else that does happen.

Works really well with completely vague statements.

The big lad in full pantomime villain mode today

Looks happy enough to still own the club there like.

Looks happy enough with a lucky point that keeps us away from a relegation fight which might stall the club's sale.

He is attending all our matches now, as it is his "last hurrah".

He desperately wants the deal to go through soon, but he knows he will 'miss it' on some level, so is attending matches as the owner, while he can.

I understand that, human nature.

Absolute stunning levels of guesswork passed off as fact there
