So, I'm right in thinking this only affects monies brought in that are applicable to FFP spend on players? Essentially, we have to find some way of getting money into the club, solely to balance out spend on players. We can spend what we like on everything outside of the playing staff, so the improvements to the ground, training facilities and wages of a new manager aren't included?

Rumours it was West Ham that called for the vote

Good because if they keep pushing, the anti-competition legal team will have an absolute field day. The fact they had a meeting without NUFC in attendance is a blatant example of this. Premier League as we all know is corrupt, but they and their members are still subject to UK law.

There’s no way any of that sticks. It’s anti competitive and wouldn’t get through court. Like mentioned before, if they were really worried about it they wouldn’t have sent Charnley.

The other clubs seem to be trying to act quickly before our new owners have a grasp of what’s going on.

We need a beast of a CEO in quickly, someone who knows this lot and will put manners on them.

Remember when rangers fans warned about the untold damage that Ashley has done to our club when it eventually gets out.

Them warnings are very likely still real, and disastrous.

Difference is we can afford to buy ourselves out of them

Yup. And right now we can spend £190m on players coz Ashley was so tight.

We've seen how good the PL are at kicking cans down the road when they don't want something. The other clubs know they can stall us for years and increase the gap to us further while we have legally clear our right to compete again.

Long term definitely. I was just meaning in relation to how slow the consortium are moving re appointments.

Club has little to no staff, nobody of any note in any position.

And we are taking a dicking from all corners so I'm not surprised they are stuttering a little bit.

Thats not always possible, or even the best idea. It also would go against what theyve claimed their MO will be. Sometimes spending time s better than spending money.

Think they had no choice but to send Charnley as the Companies House standings have not been updated yet, so legally I think he is probably still the only legal Director until it is updated.

Not sacking Bruce aside they’ve done nothing else wrong.

Its gonna take a bit of time to get the right building blocks in place but it’ll come.

You would have thought though they'd have had all the pieces in place - they had the best part of 18 months to plan.

There was a lovely picture of Brady's daughter in the papers recently sunning herself in Arab sunshine, showing off all the bling.

Not a f**k given about human rights when it came to posing for instagram or getting some sun on her arse.

Nothing will happen with this, not worried at all. It’s retarded

Aye, they haven't got a leg to stand on. I'd love it if we sued all 18 of them for millions.

it's nowt more than them trying to frighten us. They will have to do a lot better than this. [emoji38]

I bet Jamie Reuben, one of the top 10 highest tory donors and chairman of Boris Johnson's London mayoral election campaign, is quaking in his expensive boots at the outcome of Tracy Crouch's review. It feels nice to actually be on the right side of tory cronyism for once.

I must admit I had virtually given up on NUFC but now I am absolutely spell bound with the whole takeover and the circus around it.  I wake up in the morning excited for what will or wont happen.  My work has gone to pot though checking this forum every 3 mins

Of course there was

I'm not even one to bleat on about any of this kind of stuff, but I for one have no desire to visit any of those countries as the culture and ideals are just too different for me.

But these lot are so quick to frequent these countries and party over there and all that, and then start talking about human rights. Get the heck out of here man!

Some decisive action needs to happen soon. In fairness they did say they are conducting a complete and thorough review but some things that are more obvious need to be addressed sooner.

AS shouldn’t be running the club day to day, it’s not her area of expertise and the likes of Lee Charnley who is staying on, you really don’t want someone like him having the chance to worm his way into their thinking.

I’d even give Peter Kenyon a temporary role if he’s available. Someone with big club experience who can hit the ground running. He did this at Chelsea for about a season when Abramovich took over before they got their own people in.
