Detailed strategy is doing heavy lifting.

There are only so many things that can be done to lift a clubs revenue. Maximise existing channels or do something innovative/use levers Barcelona style. Or the rules change.

A point people in the know made after the takeover was that PIF would often set ambitious targets but not have a realistic plan to achieve those targets.

With that in mind - pressure on commercial team and hesitancy to leverage APT agreements doesn’t fill me with hope.

Commercial revenue = club merchandise, secondary uses of the stadium and sponsorships.

There is no ‘super secret strategy’.  You flog more gear, hoy on other stuff at your ground and get more commercial partners onboard, and that’s that.  To do it, you need a larger fanbase, a bigger and better stadium, and success on the pitch to persuade multiple bidders to become your official dildo suppliers.

Tale as old as time :)

Hang on

This started with TCD complaining that he didn't "understand the plan as to how we close the revenue gap" and that the assertion that "‘More pressure on commercial team’ isn’t a plan." to which Venkman questioned if he wanted a detailed plan in the press, to which TCD replied yes referring to how publicly listed companies often share quite detailed plans in the press.

So TCD want a detailed plan, despite NUFC not being publicly listed and it being foolish to divulge any such information to the public, but now that's been pointed out you deride the notion that any such plan could even be viable as "there are only so many things that can be done to lift a club's revenue"? :dontknow:

Trust the owners to (continue to) grow the club man. They're doing a pretty decent job of it so far, despite the continued insistence by some that they won't be able to.

She fell of the stage at the end and hurt herself - I know a few people that were in the audience, she also cried and got upset when talking about leaving the club / complicated (didn’t explain why)

Loss of balance and muscular coordination, and loss of emotional control, are established symptoms of progressive Huntington's disease, which she does have. Really hope she's OK. Amanda should be an honorary Geordie legend for all she has done to revive the club.

To be clear, I know he wants a detailed plan in the press. I was interested as to whether he’s mad enough to expect a detailed plan in the press.

Was great to see Al-Rumanyhoo lift the cup and show his fingers as if  to say number 1.

Aye. Time for him to sort out some nice lucrative sponsorships deals.
