r0cafella
Making record revenue is mighty impressive given the lack of champions league football. It's good to see at a financial level things moving In the right direction In hopinksons interview he mentioned it needing to be a record every year and he's at least spot on regarding that. UpTheToon
Looks like it saved us from a breach last year but won't help us going forward as the rules move to SCR based accounting.

Kid Icarus
Long overdue. Short of the likes of Chelsea being properly punished and the entire league being given reparations for this sort of shit, this is the only just alternative for clubs to resort to. It's ridiculous. Vaj
Yeah as mentioned this doesn't look like it will do anything for us going forward and is actually quite concerning that we were that much in the shit which showed with the lack of signings for a number of windows before the summer just gone. Happy that the owners found a way around it and shows there commitment but looks like we will be doing more player trading going forward to navigate the rules to prevent us from getting this much in the shit again. Turnbull2000
Only a short term fix but whatever. Worrying we can make such a large loss when we haven't been extravagant. Edited March 31 by Turnbull2000

Geordie Magpie
We must have been very much in the shit PSR wise to have to use the stadium loophole, especially when we didn't make notable signings for a while. Looks like a few big names will be off this summer and we will have to not get attached to players moving forward as this will end up being the norm for a while

You're in an incredible position now PSR wise and I'd say this move is so you can offer your top players better contracts while still strengthening the squad. It's a signal of intent for me. Not sure how it can be spun as a negative.

It's a case of taking a fact (that the stadium sale was to cover losses rather than to create revenue) and running with it I think.
