Big golf fan, follow the PGA/LIV stuff quite closely.

Al-Rumayyan is likely not going to be deposed, ultimately. PIF will try everything they can to appeal and get him out of it but if they unsuccessfully exhaust every avenue without any success they'll drop the lawsuit against the PGA rather than be subjected to discovery.

The LIV thing has been such an absolute shambles for them, I do wonder if they're already thinking about just cutting their losses there and focusing on things like NUFC and F1 where they have been far more successful so far.

The problem Delaney will have is that a state owning a club doesn’t breach the rules - the idea was to tie the state to PIF in order to block the takeover due to piracy.  The piracy has gone and the PL no longer give a shit.  The thick little wanker is barking up the wrong tree.

Some changes taking place. Majed Al Sorour is out as a director at the club, replaced by Abdulmajid Alhagbani (his LinkedIn shows him as Head of MENA Securities Investments for PIF, https://www.linkedin.com/in/abdulmajeed-alhagbani-281b9549)

I see the golf bloke who was appointed director last year has gone and another one with oil background has been appointed. Wonder why the reason is for that, anything to do with LIV golf?

Think Majed resigned from CEO of LIV Golf too, somebody certainly isn’t happy with him…
