Maggies
Bruce-esque performance and tactics so far. Still time to sort it out.
Gallowgate Toon
Aye, I usually see sense in his tactics but this has been almost fearful.
dcmk
The crying is back I see. Everyone knew this would be a difficult game.
Sibierski
There's difficult game, and then there's no showing.
clintdempsey
Most games in the PL are difficult. That’s kind of the challenge? And what we’ve prepared for? The least challenging game would probably be Southampton at home which we managed to make difficult enough last week.
Theregulars
He’s had one of his worst games for a while today. Needless formation change and weird over-emphasis on defence.
Ben
Craig Hope on Talksport this morning seem to suggest Howe might walk if he doesn't get his transfer targets in by friday
TBG
We established yesterday Everton won't be relegated off the back of yesterday's result, this result will however define our season.
Theregulars
To be fair to him his last set of changes worked well.

Surely Barnes and Gordon have to start together next Premier league match.
Dokko
Shit line up. Wasn't working, made subs and even if we get beat from here kat least we fought for it. Wasn't the case either end of HT.
ATB
Saved a point in the end (with some luck). But need to step it up if he wants to keep the job. not good enough.
mouldy_uk
Early days, but can’t keep starting games so poorly. He’s lucky the injury curse has lifted (so far), but that’s also his main excuse gone. Hopefully we can find our groove. p.s please ditch Longstaff
thomas
Can't see him lasting past christmas if we're outside the top 6 by then.
Smal
we looked better when we stopped the 4-4-2 stuff. Trippier also understands the position and role in the team far more than Livramento at the moment. Makes a big difference.

We are still behind top6 in terms of quality and money. It requires us to overperform and at least one of them (ManU or Chelsea most likely) to fuck it up. Wandy
Call it kneejerk all you want but my gut feeling is that he won’t be manager this time next season.
Newcastle Fan
We look like we've hardly been coached in the last two games, everything that was good about our play seemed to have gone away.

Tino is really reluctant to overlap, he stays so deep. Kelly obviously the same on the other side too. So important in modern football for at least one of your fullbacks to be pushing the opposition back.
Kimbo
I think our style of play is predictable and only really works when we’re 100%. We need to work towards a more possession based game and this should really have been addressed in the transfer market over the last 3 months. It feels like we just try to force things every time we have ball and we just end up losing it quickly.

I really like Tino but he was poor in all of the pre-season games I watched and has offered zero offensively in the first two games. We could really do with hanging on to Tripps this season. When Tripps came on Howe had him stay wide. Changed the game and not entirely Tino's fault.
Gallowgate Toon
Appreciate we're managing returns to fitness etc. but he's paid the price of a very poor starting setup. Whatever he's doing with Gordon needs to stop - he's a menace in space, don't plonk him in packed areas. If he's not fit enough to do the yards out left then don't start him. Wolfcastle
Any manager would still have to play the players Howe has to play. That's our biggest problem by far. Don't think anybody can move us forward until we see the back of regularly using some of the names we all know
