If the officials had done their jobs in the last week, the discourse would be totally different. We'd be looking at a result at Anfield and a win today.

If they were working for someone else. I've no doubt they've done their job.

We gave 1st and 2nd for the last few years a game, and would have at least drawn both were it not for shit refereeing in the Liverpool game. Today is the first game we’ve really dropped points we should have taken, and again it was because of some diabolical calls rather than any issue with our performance.

Genuinely baffled that anyone is actually upset with the start we’ve made tbh, we’ve looked a force in just about every game even without our best players available.

Howe has been in charge for less than a year, think some of us would do well to remember that.  We’re rocketing in the right direction but it’s not going to be instant like

Not upset with the performances most of the while. But the last minute goal for Liverpool and dropped points today. It is going to mean people are disappointed and a bit nervy for the next lot of ‘winnable’ games.

Puts a bit of pressure on West Ham. Lose that and suddenly our start isn’t quite as impressive.

Get the star players back over the next week or two and I think we’ll get some results and everyone will settle down.

Nervy is a little kind on some. It's like a teenage emo convention in here, without the Robert Smith quotes.

Defensive improvement was amazing, all the way back to early umm 2022. Edited that typo.

Two of the six games we've played we've expected no points, we should've had two points, we got one point. Team will have taken so much from that and the bonus of those games being out the way. We can attack it hard from here with the week between games!!

We failed to buy a RW/CM. Europe is gone. Almiron is probably the worst starting RW in the league.  It will cost us.

Was certain you were being sarcastic one post earlier. Not sure anymore.

Ref not intervening this week and we’d be around 4th/5th or 8/9th if it’s 2 wins or 1 win and 1 draw. Frustrating but hopefully and I believe we will - turn these draws into wins sooner than later. Need Maxi and Bruno back and we’ll be purring.

Anyone that is having a go at Eddie Howe or even remotely criticising him is an absolute doylem, it's as if they didn't watch what's taken place the last 9 months and they don't watch any of the games

This has been a frustrating week, I've felt angry and frustrated but that's been with the officials and the behaviour of Liverpool, not with Howe

It's the opposite with Howe, I'm incredibly proud of the job he's done and clearly how far we have come under him as manager. We've been very competitive and played a lot of good stuff

He’s doing a superb job and we’ve improved so much on the ball just this season alone from last season, and I can’t remember when we were this strong defensively. Again, we are probably one of or if not the hardest working team off the ball in the PL.

 100%

We’ve been very impressive with a squad that clearly needs more work. We should have at least 3 more points (a conservative number) but for the consistent use of VAR working against us.

I do like what Howe is doing mind, he’s known as an attacking manager whose team’s ship loads of goals in, he clearly recognised this as a weakness of his and I’m in no doubt when he went to watch A.Madrid under Simeone he came away with a different perspective and he has set us up to be solid defensively to give us that rock solid base to then go and attack, it’s just we lack the right attacking players or we can’t field them due to injury, when we click, we will batter someone soon.
