I doubt many people thought that lineup would have complete control against Partey, Rice and Odegaard, especially when we saw that Hall was starting at left back and not in the centre... but with Schar pushing up to support the midfield, we absolutely bossed it. I wouldn't even call it 5 on paper - no one who has spent more than 30 minutes watching Hall and Trippier would have them down as defensive fullbacks who treat the halfway line as if it was coated in asbestos.
