"Eddie knows best"

Allowing a performance like that in a derby game, elite manager my arse. Not the fact we've lost, but the utter limp dick spineless nature of that performance. Fucking crap.

He'll learn from it though, when we lose the next away game.

You've got to put aside what he has done for us so far to really talk about what is going on this season and how much of it is Howe's responsibility to ensure it isn't this bad.

The summer signings, the Isak debacle (if it was clear he was off should have acted quicker), the lack of plan 'B', the subs, the away form.

Just bad. If we finish midtable this year it has to be time to consider a change to see who else is available.

Worst part is that I bet most of us kind of expected a loss before the game. I read a lot of coping post before it had even started, going on about not being bothered or how good of a team Sunderland are etc, just to prepare us for what was about to happen. Was predictable as hell to most of us. Would've been a big surprise if we won this. That does tell you something.

Breaks my heart to say it but I think the writing is on the wall for Howe. There's levels to this game and we're not moving up, our away form and these late goals we're conceding are worrying signs of weakness from his management and it doesn't look like there's a solution to it.

Look at Emery at Villa, why can't we do what they're doing? We don't have the mentality for it. I absolutely love Howe and I really want him to be the man for us for years to come but this season is worrying. It just seems like he's done everything he can with us and in fairness he's a club legend forever.

Thought this for few months but he has his his ceiling.

We look poorly coached, poor tactically (wed to 4-3-3), subs are too reactive and predictable and we now seem to leak last minute goals which he doesn't seem able to fix, he looks out of ideas.

Amazing what he has done for us, two champions league campaigns and a League Cup but think we should give him the season and look elsewhere.
