I wonder if Bournemouth would’ve stayed up if they stopped giving him credit in the bank for their sensational rise through the leagues, and acted on what was in front of them and sacked him?

He’s been sensational for us. I love him and always will. I’d rather him leave with his dignity in tact rather than this getting worse and worse.

Glasner or Iraola for me. Will they take us to the next level? I don’t know. But they’ll be doing better than this and I no longer believe Howe will take us to the next level.

League - still very much in contention for Europe

Champions league - very much in contention to qualify automatically in the top 8.

League cup - Semi finals (again)

Fa Cup - still in it.

Seasons falling apart man !!

League we're not in contention without a serious uptick in form

Champions league will be playing offs and let's be honest it's an adventure with no realistic chance of winning it. Just one to enjoy.

League cup, yes agreed

FA cup, that's a stretch to include seeing as we haven't had our first game in it yet 🤣

All I’d say regarding timing is I have significant reservations about him being in charge of spending money. We’re crying out for a different type of player.

Yeah I think this is a fair point like, are we just going to target the same profile of player (athleticism as a priority) over creativity, technical guile etc? Something which is undoubtedly influenced by the coaching style.

The squad needs an injection of a different skillset imo.

That he deserves a chance to turn it around this time?

He does but it's been going on for months now. How long is the leash? It's definitely not improved since October, we don't get to decide how long he has left

We make very hard work of creating clear cut chances away from home, and everything is a bit rushed or predictable. How we really pushed for a goal was actually quite pleasing, but the lack of creativity is painful and clear for all to see.

One season outside of Europe isn't going to trigger a mass exodus. We're at risk of losing Tino and Tonali regardless.

We’d probably lose Tino or Hall or Tonali or maybe two, or maybe all three. But we’d take that money, reinvest, and keep on ticking. That’s how every team in Europe other than a handful operates.

Yep. What's your point?

You were saying he looks clueless and doesn't know what he's doing anymore.

He's shown many, many times already that he can fix the issues in the team.  So why not give him the opportunity. Bizarre.

People want rid but who comes in and does better?

Transfer window is looking like an absolute disaster at this stage. Plenty of time for things to turn around admittedly.

I think we bought some good players tbh.

I think some have excelled in spite of the poor coaching, rather than because of the coaching.

I would never sack him during the season because the damage is done IMO and he deserves a full season and all the cups.

But do I want him here next season? Right now, nope. And it’s not because I think he’s a crap manager etc. it’s just I think we’ve reached a ceiling with his style, and we need to sign some technical players that can psss and move, and that will require a different manager to get the best out of them (like Howe got the best out of our hard runners).

It’s a sad state of affairs when we’re not even fun to watch anymore, but a really boring side that’s a drag to watch.

I’ve said it before and will be last time I say it, but England sounding out Howe will be the best thing for both parties. We get to part on good terms before it turns sour, door open for future return and we can move in a different direction under a cloud that’s more white and fluffy then dark and gloomy.

We are. We certainly will without europe.

I think the big players, we're vulnerable to lose regardless of Europe after the whole Isak saga. I wouldn't be against a refresh of the squad and start phase 2.

I admire your optimism and in truth there’s nothing that an 8 or 9 game winning run wouldn’t sort out in terms of a European challenge but can you really see us winning 8 or 9 in a row?

Nobody avaliable.

I think Eddie can turn things around but he really needs to just be honest with himself.

It's another dreadful result and the performance ultimately wasn't good enough, but I think he was let down by poor finishing more than anything

We created 1 big chance all game with an xG of 1.18. Finishing wasn’t the issue, good quality chance creation was, and has been, all season.

I can’t think of many chances other than Miley’s and Gordon’s which I think could’ve been put down for poor finishing. All chances were half chances at best or created out of nothing (Hall).

Iraola not won a game since late October.

Glasner not won in 4 games, just lost 4-1 to Leeds.

It's a very competitive league, form fluctuates.
