Sean
I dread to think the calibre of coach the people running this club (whoever the fuck they actually are) would be able to attract if Howe was to leave. The Saudis have made a bit of a mess of actually running a club. They got lucky Staveley made some good decisions but since she left we’re a bit of a joke. Here’s Leverkusen’s absentee list that night: I didn't mention injuries at all, I did mention the fixture run though. This is our 12th match in just over a month and we've got another 6 in the next 3 weeks. Leverkusen’s are very good though, they've won all but 1 match in the last 4 months. Wonder who they didn't beat. Edited February 5 by Kid Icarus

Doesn't change the fact he isn't doing a good job and has put together this weird and expensive squad that isn't good enough. I don't want him to have another summer to add more misfits to this squad. The failed attempts at signing Ekitike and João Pedro this summer.. If we signed them would they have been misfits? We had no DoF in place. What about the rest of team he has previously brought in Hall, Bruno, Isak, Tonali, Livra, Botman.. etc he knows how to spot a player. Sometimes signings don't work out. The game was gone after 7 mins. The next game now needs to be the focus. This tie was finished at SJP. The team and the tactics tonight were just naive in the extreme. You can’t flog a dead a horse. llcoolc157
Eddie needs to find a proper leader on the pitch to support Bruno… a centre half who directs play and motivates players on the pitch, demanding better at all times… love BDB but he’s too nice and not the answer… every time a goal goes in they’re all just looking at each other… with one exception, Lewis Hall… at least he actually seems fucked off by it…
Smal
I don’t really think the fixture run is as much of an issue as maybe others do. The squad is desperate for fresh faces and renewed energy. edit: some of these lads haven’t even played much this season and they look mentally done in. They have stated a few times that value is hard to find in January, it sounds like penny pinching but in reality we need to maximum value to continue the upward trajectory We are trying to make up 100s of millions of ground on the top 5 clubs Edited February 4 by Nine

I’m not really sure what you mean. I’d be gutted if he left but what we’re seeing consistently isn’t good enough, I don’t think that’s particularly controversial take. You can point to a good performance in Paris but it was sandwiched in between a load of shit domestically. You know yourself if it was any other manager in our history people wouldn’t stand for it, so not sure why we should now? Because we used to be proper shit? Dokko
2 minutes ago, Milburn said: But there is every chance the manager will be an issue come the end of the season. They may hesitate to use money on players until they know who will manage them next season. Exactly. There could have been movement. The club decided against and have sacrificed this season in doing so. Has to be a reason than just ino value. You can argue our best window was the jan window. Deals can be done, even if you pay a little extra. If you're ambitious and want to end the season strong when you've struggled, you invest.
Wolfcastle
This cycle of the proect is well and truly over. Very big rebuild needed. Not just a GK, fullback and CM, that's treading water.

We could have bought loads of players that can't pass or shoot but can run fast for a few million and have been better than this shit

That and that the first choice eleven is nigh on exactly the same one 2 seasons ago. PSR mainly to blame for that one but also the totally wrong profiles signed in the summer in every regard beside Thiaw. (who tbh the jury is back out for for me. Makes too many goal costing mistakes)
