Every game in the 2nd half we drop regardless of indvidual errors or not, think it was mentioned we have the 2nd highest number of points dropped from winning position in a season in the league's history. Minteh puts that in and the trend continues.

Then If Wissa put that one in at the end it would be 3 2

If you are happy with that performance at home against a mid-table team then good for you guys.

(Won't deny that it was an improvement).

I would have been happy with any performance today as long as some how we managed to win. We did. I'm happy. Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend marra.

Aye, a victory at home by two clear goals against the league's most in form team (who started the day in 6th) has certainly lifted my mood. Miserable get.

Can we not just enjoy the win rather than just being hyper negative every week?

There'll be some disappointed posters tonight, some folk are just going to have to work through it and all we can do is be as supportive as we can

Can’t tell if serious.

We were very very good first half… could have easily have been 3 or 4 goals up with better finishing.

Second half was tough, but Brighton are decent side, and our nerves really seemed to kick in. Yet we still missed a couple of glorious chances and scored 1.

So, aye, I’m happy with that.

"have a nice time at the match, dear?"

"we won 3-1, it was terrible"

Good first half, credit where it’s due. Should’ve been at least three up at the break

Second half though… same old. We sit back, lose control in large spells, and hope for the best. On another day Brighton score one or two more and we’re all having a very different conversation.

Result is great but performance still full of the same cracks.

But for now, enjoy the win!

It wasn’t the most aesthetically pleasing and obviously incredibly nervy, but happy for everyone they got it done.

I didn’t like the lineup but I think this is Howe just relying on specific strengths of individual players that he feels are reliable until he gets to summer and can have a big think.

Are you disappointed we scrapped through?

Even at our best against Brighton we have struggled.  We were an out of form against a very in-form team, not exactly a gimme.

I can’t remember a win after a losing streak that hasn’t been nervy, it’s to be expected.

Usual signs were there straight after the second half but the points are what matter at the minute.

Can only be looked at as an improvement as we didn't get pegged back.

Was miffed by the lineup but at the same time I was telling anyone who'd listen... There's been plenty of times where the lineup looks lifting but the performance has been sound, which was the case for most of the first half today.

Honestly expected us to get humped.

Long live the king.

Can’t knock it, really, but the second half was almost a monumental arse drop. I haven’t bricked it that much for years.

The selection ultimately paid off. Burn scores and Murphy/Osula combine for one, then two subs seal it after two subs should’ve already sealed it.

The celebrations on the bench when the third went in were as big as I recall seeing, it was a massive release of pressure.

Safety secured, Howay the lads!

Good to see some of our shithousery return. I was mega critical of the starting lineup and I don’t regret that but fair play, the big calls paid off.

Will stand corrected on the starting line up. However few could have predicted Burn pulling out one of his rare headed goals and Willock remembering he's a footballer.

But clearly Eddie saw evidence in training and picked what he thought was best.

Felt we rode our luck first half however. Their keeper making a lairy error and getting punished where as we didn't for Pope's.

Second half was same old familiar feeling and felt like we were sleep walking into throwing another game away. Probably should have done but for Minteh's miss. We wait too long to change things when the pattern of the game is going against us and wait til we concede every time.

Felt the changes were wrong as well at the time. Just invited more pressure and we had out ball.

Hall didn't brilliantly however and Wissa should have killed the game. Likewise Joelinton should have squared to Barnes.

A win is a win and we can now forget about this season and any relegation nonsense and try to use the last few games to try things out and finish on a high.

But the game didn't convince me we have turned a corner or anything it was a familiar pattern but thankfully the luck fell our well this time.
