Seems a decent enough bloke but increasingly doesn't look up to the job. Performances have generally been woeful. Hasn't given us any sort of new manager bounce in the way Gerrard did at Villa for example. He's had some winnable games as well, Brentford, Norwich, Burnley and Watford all at home. 6 points from those 4 games is nowhere near good enough. toon25 Posted January 15, 2022 Share Posted January 15, 2022 It's fair to say that the problems we had under Bruce are still clear to see. - There's no pressure or intensity. - Can't hold a lead convincingly. - Central midfield and defence are absolutely fucking awful He's not been able to get a tune from anyone, bar Joelinton, which has been a surprise.
