Fair enough , it’s not beyond the possibility of him wanting to try , pie in the sky but it’s genuinely who I want . His vision and meticulous detail in training is phenomenal. clintdempsey Posted October 24, 2021 Share Posted October 24, 2021 The thing about our squad being mediocre and facilities being limited to say the least is the greatest reason for turning to a manager with a clear and progressive philosophy. Realistically most of the squad won’t be here in 18 months. I’d far prefer a manager that tries to turn us into an attacking team instead of going for a “safe pair of hands”. Rafa would probably be the safest pair of hands we could turn to right now but I’m honestly not sure I’d want to revisit that. There’s always the risk that everything he built with the fans last time out will be tarnished by the new expectations. I’d probably go for an exciting name such as Fonseca/Ten Hag or maybe even Jaissle or Edin Terzic. A manager that can grow along with the club and help mold it together with a DOF/Sporting Director.
