Doc
Wouldn't surprise me if Weez Key's Louise came out with something like that after her previous to be fair.
Stal
Nah, I reckon Razor will ask it just to get it out the way, get the "no" from Eddie and move on to proper questions, and he'll do this to stop the idiot journos asking later. Although saying that, fucking hope asked if he'd spoken to Paul Mitchell this week straight after Mark Douglas literally just asked that a few seconds earlier. Erikse
What could possibly be the reason for starting Murphy over Barnes today, considering how well Barnes has done this season? I'm just trying to understand that decision.
aussiemag
That was our best performance of the season. But fuck me, we don’t look like scoring.

ChrisMcQuillan
Unfortunately, I think it's time for him to go. What he's done for the club has been transformative, but I don't think he's tactically astute enough to deliver us success. I think we run a risk of that transformation being undone if we begin to decline and the season drags on, with our star players going and the cohesion starting to come undone. Hard to admit, and depressing because I'd have loved him to be the one to bring us to the top.

Now i suppose Howe thinks playing either Barnes or Gordon right takes too much out of their game. I disagree with that if it's why, but i think that's the reason. Newcastle Fan
In a way you can say it wasn't his fault our players missed all those chances but there is a serious mentality issue going on, we don't seem to be able to kill off games or be confident in our own ability which makes you think is this team going to go anywhere? 80
If we'd signed an extra defender, we'd have won that one 3 or 4-1. We have no problem scoring goals.
ILCAML
What are the chances he goes in mid-November if you don't win any of the games between now and then or do you think they'd give him the January window to strengthen the team no matter what?
Ronaldo
Obviously you can’t blame him for the missed chances. The failure to address RW, backup ST and the one dimensional approach to our attacking play is another matter. There’s just a real lack of intelligence in the final third. LiquidAK
Understand people's frustrations after such a limp second half, none of the subs made a positive difference beyond Barnes for the first few minutes. Can't blame Howe for two of our main men completely fluffing their lines multiple times though, laying this entirely at his door is uber reactionary. He should take some of the blame for not doing enough to win the game in the second half, but also should have credit for that complete dominance for the first 30-40 minutes

When Arsenal dropped off and finished 8th, they stuck by Arteta. We need to do the same, this game and Everton we created enough chances to bury both teams. We didn't which is massively disappointing, however, Eddie needs the couple of signings that he should have got last window. The Butcher
Can't defend or score atm and that's not a promising sign, even though we created more than enough to score a few today, but so did they. Set penises are a disgrace. I mean, floated to Williamson at the back post in this day and age. Really, really poor. Murphy Last season wasn’t good enough, and we've started badly this season. We need a fantastic january window. Not anymore cloggers, but genuine creative quality. Will we get what we need? I have my doubts.

Yeah, i'm not going to being looking at this section for a while or my blood pressure is going to go through the roof with these sorts of post. We dominated that game both tactically and physically, and now Howe needs to go. Jesus.

alexf
Said in the match thread, blaming Eddie for today is a massive stretch. An inform Isak or Gordon and we win that fairly comfortably. We controlled large portions of the game and limited them to very little. What's being proven however, as we play more and more games this year, is everyone's feeling that this squad isn't strong enough to challenge is correct.
