I don't think it's a massive problem regarding the players, he'll be watching and managing via whatever technology is available.

It's a shame we can't give him a great welcome, but it will just mean a much better one when we do eventually seen him in the home dugout....especially if we have a few more points on the board.

It’s really odd. Jones was talking about definitely staying and being an assistant before we even brought a manager in  Its like he just decided he isn’t leaving and given himself a title.
