 Einstein couldn't even work out how we manage to change the very fabric of time

Should launch a rocket to Mars, stick on a few Bruce matches and brace for landing.

At least there's light at the end of the tunnel, the new owners will look to change things for the better (sooner rather than later).

It could be worse, you could be like Cardiff (our version of Sunderland), who has Mick McCarthy as manager, who for the last 4 games played 5 (FIVE) central defenders to tighten the ship and in those games let in 13 goals. :celb:

They have an owner who knows nothing and relies on his mate to make football decisions, lol.

Hopefully a new manager can get these players ticking in the games until January.

Is the £8m thing actually true?

How longs left on his contract?

The speculation is that it is a rolling 3 year contract, and if the £8m is true it is assumed that the rolling contract is "renewed" every day where if sacked he is due to be compensated for a full 3 year period left on the contract. It sounds so bonkers that I can't believe that is true, but you never know with Ashley and Charnley

Regardless of whether that is the case or not, they should just sack him now based on the contract expiring after this season, and let a civil court decide who has the right interpretation of the contract.
