Christ Like a lot of Arsenal players in the past 10-15 years, he’s great for 1 out of 10 games. He also is injured all the time. He's obviously a very good player, better than what we have, but we're going to have to be aware of FFP for starters. He's 29. He's going to want at least a three-year-deal. Then you have to try and fit him into the team in a system we don't play. It just stinks of the early deals Man City did for the likes of Roque Santa-Cruz where it was buying players that were good and not players that were needed. He's added some real class in their midfield and they can build a team around him and Neves That's in large part because he fits their system. They've played that way from the start, so it was a veteran upgrade. Ramsey isn't a traditional box to box CM these days. He's a lot better suited to a role as a 10, and even then his numbers in his last year at Arsenal weren't startling, certainly not to the tune of £200k pw (and that's IF he talks a paycut). You'd need to switch to a 4-2-3-1 potentially, which you can do, but it's going to limit what you can do elsewhere. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
