If this is the case he’s going to fail miserably here as Steve Cook type of signings wouldn’t wash under the Ashley regime never mind the new one. So far Howe has failed in all his team selections for someone who is meant to be analytical and if the source is true he’ll also fail in recruitment. Disappointing. And with decisions allegedly having to be run past PIF before being actioned, how do you know it’s the speed of her decisions that are so bad and that you’re now whinging about? They’ve taken on a hollow shell of a club which pretty much had Lee Charnley as it’s only staff member. It’s gonna take time to turn this around. It took Benitez 3 games to work out that Steven Taylor was shite, 9 games to work out Sels was shite in the Championship and realised after the summer window in 2017-18 shut that we needed a better keeper than Elliot and Darlow at PL level before loaning and then buying Dubravka. He hasn't failed, he's been in charge for 5 or 6 weeks, 5 games. How old are the servers? Are there any IT people? What is the level of training? Any cross training? They have to build a fully functional business operation from the ground up. What do people expect after two months. If you walk into the wilderness for fourteen years you can't expect to turn around and walk out in two months.
