Just forget it mate it was a tongue in cheek post.

Ah right honestly hard to tell whats real with people genuinely saying a day after transfer window why have we not signed anyone.

Saying we only have 50 mil to do spend in Jan.

PIF are buying inter.

Saying 25 million is expensive for Trips when we have the richest owners in the world and its penny's.

Just relax and enjoy the show, brother. Newcastle are large and in charge.

A senior source told Telegraph Sport: “We are taking it one transfer at a time. The market is a difficult one for us, clubs are quoting a lot of money for the players we want and some are simply not for sale, but we are working through things and more will follow after Tripper.

“We are close on a few things, but this is football and you never know what is going to happen until they are actually signed.”

One of the next targets will be Everton full-back Lucas Digne. The Frenchman has fallen out with Everton manager Rafael Benítez and Newcastle are hoping that deal could progress quickly.

Newcastle are also considering a bid for Diego Carlos, the Sevilla centre-back, as they look at alternatives to Sven Botman.

I haven’t seen a lot of Digne so not on board with the hype just yet. I need to be convinced that he’s better than Ritchie :cheesy:

He has 2 legs that work properly and he knows where to position himself defensively for 3 minutes of a football match. There you go!

Wasnt it arsenal who bid £40,000,001 for suarez when he had a £40m price tag

TBF thought Arsenal got a lot of undue stick for that as it was a £40m release clause, or so they thought. Liverpool argued it only give them permission to talk to the player. All very weird.
