We should aim to get this one postponed as well, ideally just play Cambridge and rest until mid Jan, will have some players back from injury and hopefully one or two signings.

Aye that would be ideal. Use the Cambridge game to regain some match fitness and give some of our (hopefully!) new players a run out and then a full week’s training before the Watford game.

Can enjoy Hassenhuttl’s tears too.

We had 8 players on the bench of which two were goalies - a total of 16 outfield players (10 on the pitch + 6 on the bench)

We regain Hayden from suspension but lose Manquillo to it.

Injuries to ASM, Wilson, Fraser would take us to 13. Schar also looked canny fucked or alternatively any other COVID case would take us past the 13 threshold.

Also worth pointing out that these figures include Elliot Anderson (2 appearances totalling about 25 mins) and Joe White (yet to make his debut).

Hassenhuutl can fuck off, sounds pretty legit to me.

This. If anything, we are one of the few clubs who have been trying to fulfil the fixtures while everyone else has been looking for any excuse to cry off. We got 3 or 4 injuries just from the Man U game otherwise there would have been no question of postponing. It happened on national television as well so it's not like there was any chance it was faked.

We're just using the (broken imo) criteria the PL have given for asking for a postponement and couldn't give the first fuck what any other fan or manager thinks about it. We've played as many games as anyone else in the league and the situation we have right now, whether he likes it or not, warrant a postponement. We didn't create the criteria, others have had matches postponed and everyone just nodded along and accepted it without any fuss. Why is it different now?

We've been far too nice for far too long, time to get our elbows out and play the game.

That journo replied to me saying that the PL now does 7 day isolation rather than 10 when I suggested that Monday-Sunday was well within a potential isolation period

That would explain how wor Eddie was available for the Arsenal game.

Yeap, but I still don't understand how PL isolation rules supersede public health rules.
